Fellow NTIASIU members:
As you know, we typically choose an organization to support during the holiday season. This year, we have chosen to support Feed My Starving Children, which is dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. We will be participating in a volunteer event at their site, where we will hand-pack nutritious MannaPack™ meals specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition that get distributed worldwide.
We have set aside Thursday, November 21st from 12 – 2pm as our volunteering event. This also takes place during International Fraud Awareness Week. This is strictly voluntary and by no means mandatory. They are located at: 1680 N Glenville Drive, Suite 300, Richardson, TX 75081. You can find out more about them on their website: https://www.fmsc.org/
If you would like to participate in this event, please email Geoff Keah by Friday, November 1st.
Additionally, the North TX Fire Investigators’ Association is hosting a Live Burn event on Wednesday, November 20th from 9:30 – 3:00pm at Cedar Hill Fire Department, 1212 W Belt Line Rd, Cedar Hill, TX 75104. You may RSVP for that event here: https://www.ntfia.org/events/november-meeting-live-burn-training
Should you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. I look forward to seeing everyone there in this wonderful volunteering opportunity.
