Minimum: IAAI-CFI & Bachelor’s Degree
Conducts investigations of fire losses, to include the scene investigations for the determination of origin and cause.
• Evaluate, collect, package, & maintain evidence in accordance with industry standards.
• Completes detailed & extensive investigations in accordance with NFPA standards and procedures
• Liaison & maintain relationships with law enforcement & fire department agencies & collaborate in the investigation of fire losses.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree + 3 - 5 years of fire investigation.
• Possess & maintain NFPA 1033 standards. Ability to work under NFPA 921 Guidelines
• Certified Fire Investigator active through IAAI.
• Possess/ability to obtain Texas Claims Adjuster License
Location within Texas, preference for central/south Texas.
No relocation compensation.
